General Policies

As an alternative to UPS we offer Direct Delivery within Metropolitan New York. For a $40.00 Direct Delivery charge we will deliver, assemble, install and instruct on the use and features of the product. You can choose this option where you selected your purchase.

We presently cannot accept orders for shipment outside of: United States.

Taxes

We are a New York company and are responsible for collecting sales tax as applicable within New York. If you are ordering from another state you will not be paying sales tax on your purchase when you order from us – but consumers have always technically been responsible for reporting their out-of-state purchases for use tax purposes.

Order Cancellation Policies

There is no penalty for cancelling an order. We try to ship the same day we receive the order. This means that if you cancel an order, the item may very well be on its way to you already. In that case you will have to refuse delivery or incur the cost to ship it back to us.

Return Policies

We gladly accept return of unused merchandise if you are unhappy with your purchase. You, the purchaser, are responsible for shipping the item back to us and we issue a refund for the product cost minus 5% restocking charge when we receive it. We do not refund the original shipping charge. We do ask that you contact us by e-mail, phone, or snail mail to let us know that you are returning an item so that we can be prepared to process it.

About Us

For almost 30 years Total Care Health Industries, Inc. has been providing home medical equipment, incontinence products, medical supplies and specialty rehabilitation equipment in the Metropolitan New York area. In 1999 we launched this e-commerce web site with the intention of better serving our community. We believed that it would allow relatives in other areas to arrange for equipment and supplies to be provided for their loved ones by a local, experienced company. Interestingly, we found that our products and our service are needed well outside our geographical community. We currently serve the entire country. Our clients include individuals, hospitals, clinics, residences, doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and schools.
