Product Availability: We make every effort to provide our customers with the finest and highest quality products in our gift basket designs and gourmet shop. We reserve the right to substitute any and all items with that of equal or greater value than the item pictured or described.

We strive to ship our orders within 2-3 business days of receipt of your order (holidays and peak times of the year may be exceptions), provided full payment has been received and verified.

We use United State Postal Service with delivery confirmation. Overnight delivery is available at an additional charge. Please contact us for a quote.

Delivery service is often NOT available in many areas on Sundays or legal holidays. So, while every effort will be made to accommodate such deliveries when possible, items requested for delivery on a Sunday or legal holiday may be delivered the day before or day after the date requested, if necessary.

We do not ship any gift baskets containing wines or beer due to local ordinances. These baskets may be ordered for pick up or local delivery within the Mobile Metro and Eastern Shore areas.

Local delivery charge is $10.00 for Mobile and $20.00 for Spanish Fort, Daphne, Montrose or Fairhope. All others call for quote.By using this site to purchase wine you are affirming that you and the person receiving any wine from Gourmet Galley is 21 years or older. You also agree that any alcohol purchased from Wine Gourmet Galley is intended for personal consumption and not for resale. If you do not agree with these terms of use please do not use this site to order wine. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your or the recipients age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 21, Gourmet Galley will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

Shipping Policies

To calculate Shipping Charges, add an item to your shopping cart and enter your shipping address zip code to see the available shipping methods and charges for your order.

Taxes

We collect state sales tax when shipping to the following states:

We only collect sales tax for orders shipped in Alabama, but you are required to report this purchase for Use Tax if shipping elsewhere. Please consult your tax professional for guidance.

Order Cancellation Policies

We accept cancellations if received within 24 hours prior to scheduled order shipment.
LOSS-Will refund entire purchase price after receipt of letter signed by Addressee indicating item was never received. Letter CANNOT be dated earlier than 30 days after article was shipped.

Return Policies

Gourmet Galley stands behind its merchandise. All items are guaranteed. If you are dissatisfied with an item, return it within 30 days from the shipping date for an exchange or full refund. Merchandise must be in its original packaging and condition. Include your order number and date of order. All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days upon receipt of the returned merchandise. Please let us know the reason for the return so we can better serve your needs in the future.

About Us

During her career as a flight attendant, owner Shari J. Webster, discovered the pleasures of good wine and foods from all over the world. With a great curiosity about wines and wine making, Shari began to visit vineyards in many countries and collect wines. As her personal collection grew, she realized that here, at home in Mobile, on Alabama's Gulf coast, fine wines and gourmet foods were scarce.

Driven by her zeal to share her interest in wines and unusual gourmet foods with friends in her community, Shari opened her Gourmet Galley in November, 1999. This exciting, attractive, gourmet store with "lots of good things" to try, includes an inventory of foreign and domestic wines and wine accessories. Also stocked are champagnes, imported and craft beers, unusual and hard-to-find oils, spices and special items for ambitious cooks, packaged gourmet foods, fine imported chocolates, coffees, teas, and much, much more.

Select any of the items in our inventory and we will expertly combine them in a Gourmet Galley gift basket. When your company/school plans special promotions, we can custom print your logo on food packaging. Delivery and shipping is available.

Gourmet Galley hosts several specialized promotional tastings throughout the year so that customers can get to know wines, "a taste at a time". The "Galley" also will host private wine and beer tastings that can be tailored to your entertainment needs.
